BALL OF SHAME 2025

BALL OF SHAME IS BACK.

Ball of Shame – the biggest annual ball in Bratislava, Slovakia presented by Monika Prikkelová (Monika Tisci), Roman Samotný (Queer Slovakia), with help of Viktor Bukový (Legendary Viktor Tisci) and our partners will take place on 20th September 2025.

Supported using public funding by Slovak Arts Council.

Place: Kácečko, Kamenné námestie, Bratislava, Slovakia.

Would you like to travel to Bratislava? The closest and most convenient airport is in VIENNA-Schwechat, in Austria (60 min by car or bus). You might be lucky to find some flights to Bratislava as well, but this airport is very small with only few connections.

BACK TO SCHOOL – EDUCATION IS THE KEY

Slovakia was a jungle 2 years ago. The last Ball of Shame was right before the elections, as you might remember… We tried hard for a brighter future, but we weren’t sucessfull. Now we know, it is getting harder. Conspiracy theorist are all over the place. Education is the key to stay awake. That’s why we chose the theme for this year’s edition: EDUCATION IS THE KEY, so let’s get BACK TO THE SCHOOL.

We have decided to cancel Ball of Shame 2024 because we thought it was the best decision at that time. This year we are back and we will do everything to protect our physical and online safety as much as we can.
